Walking A Narrow Line

I realize how vague my last post was and I wanted to offer a little more transparency.

I’m trying to walk a narrow line here.

Between not making assumptions

and not allowing this space to be undermined.

This project matters to me. It was created to be community-oriented, authentic, and grounded in integrity. That means acting in good faith whenever possible.

That’s why, when the first review came in that countered my own experience, I approved it. Because who am I to decide that a client didn’t write it? People can have different experiences, and this space has to hold that.

But when multiple reviews arrive within a short window, especially after I’ve personally witnessed the practice act without integrity in other ways, that good faith starts to erode. At that point, my responsibility shifts. Not toward suspicion, but toward protecting the space that’s being curated here.

That’s the part people don’t see.

These aren’t abstract decisions. They’re judgment calls that carry weight. Fairness, truth, and integrity matter deeply to me, and I don’t take lightly the power involved in moderating someone else’s voice. I want to believe submissions come in honestly. I want to trust the process.

When that trust gets strained, it’s exhausting.

This is adding real stress to my plate, because I’m trying to hold this project with care. I’m one person, doing my best to keep the values of this site intact.
