Our Community Values
This space is built on the belief that honesty and compassion can exist side by side.
Every review shared here contributes to a more transparent and trustworthy mental health community in South & Central Louisiana.
We believe that feedback — both the gentle and the hard truths — helps raise the standard of care for everyone.
We believe that voices deserve to be heard, not filtered or erased.
And we believe that community care is an act of healing in itself.
This isn’t just a review site.
It’s a collective effort to build awareness, accountability, and hope — one experience at a time.
Guided by:
honesty • accountability • compassion 🌿
Why I Made This Site
I built this site because our experiences matter.
Not just mine, but all of ours.
Too many people have felt silenced, dismissed, or unsure of who to trust when seeking mental healthcare. I wanted to create a space where those voices could come together.
To build something strong: a community grounded in honesty, care, and accountability.
When we share our experiences, we help others make mindful choices about their own healing. We create a network of stories that can guide, protect, and empower people looking for support.
This site is about truth, transparency, and connection.
Together, we can raise the standard of care in South & Central Louisiana — one voice at a time.
Your experience matters here.
Your story might be the light someone else needs to find their way. 🌿
MINDFUL ACCESS PROJECT...
IN PLANNING
Funding Care Through Community
I’m developing an initiative where 100% of profits from future shirt sales will go directly toward funding therapy sessions for people who can’t afford care.
The plan is to pay therapists directly for sessions with clients they identify as needing support. This approach keeps the process ethical, transparent, and centered on community trust.
If you’re a clinician who is queer-, BIPOC-aligned, and deeply culturally grounded in your work, and you’d like to be considered as a recipient of these funds, please reach out at lafayettetherapistreviews@gmail.com.
This project is still taking shape, but it’s rooted in the same values as Lafayette Therapist Reviews: accountability, accessibility, and collective care.
