Brain’s Off Duty

I’m feeling really disconnected from myself and from life today. It’s one of those days where I blinked and suddenly it was the end of the work day, and I’m honestly not sure where the hours went.

I just got home, and my wife and I are babysitting our two-year-old niece tonight, so the evening will probably be filled with tiny tea parties and watching Finding Nemo on repeat.

If I’m able to form any real thoughts later, I’ll be back. But if I disappear for a bit, it’s just because my brain is offline right now.
